Hi peoples.... sorry for being away for so long! Moving, work, and school kinda took over my life for a while there. But I'm back, now!
Okay, it's big news time! I'm going to (wait for it.....) GREAT BRITAIN! Yes, yes, I know. You're all very jealous. But in attempt to relieve that jealousy, I will be posting about all of the lovely things I will be doing there, for the next couple months. I seriously doubt that I will be able to post while I'm actually in Britain but I'll do my best.
Anyway, to kick this off, let's start with the thing I'm looking forward to, the most. That would be the Doctor Who Experience! ::fanfare:: I've been dying to go there since I heard that they were building it but I never would have guessed that I would be going so soon! It contains the largest collection of Doctor Who props and costumes from all 11 Doctors as well as the whole Experience part of it with specially filmed videos of Matt Smith. Oh, you also get to go inside the 10th Doctor's Tardis. ::so excited::
Here's the link for people who wanna check it out: http://www.doctorwhoexperience.com/index.php

YAY, A BOOK I ACTUALLY ENJOYED!
I'm an extremely picky reader and, as a recreational writer, I have no tolerance for poor writing, even if the plot is good and the characters are vivid. I couldn't stand the first Hunger Games book, so much that I didn't read the rest of them even though I REALLY wanted to know what happened next (no debating about the Hunger Games in the comments, please. I have no problem with other people liking them. It's a matter of personal opinion.)
The other day, I was reading my favorite blog, Epbot, and Jen suggested the book Divergent but Veronica Roth. You can find her review here. I loved it. I honestly can't wait to get the next one from the library. Read her review and then read the book :D
(WARNING: there is a bit of inappropriateness in a couple of the chapters, but if what was in the Hunger Games didn't bother you, you should be fine.)

Summer Boredom Busters Part 1
Alright, so summer has begun. The play is over and that means I have pretty much nothing to do. Sure, I'm talking Algebra II and guitar over the summer and I'm working but compared to the rest of the year, I have much less to do. My usual coping methods are tv shows, books, and sewing/crocheting projects.
To start off, tv shows. As you probably have gathered, I like sci-fi (duh) so, here's a list of my current sci-fi favorite shows:
Stargate always makes my list. It's been my favorite show for a while. Both Atlantis and SG-1 are very good, well written, and well acted (for the most part. When you have 15 seasons of a show, there are bound to be bad parts). I don't recommend Stargate Universe unless you're into space soap operas.
Doctor Who is a new addition to my sci-fi addictions. I started watching it last year, when I got tired of not knowing what my friends were talking about. I didn't like it, at first, but that was mostly do to my contrary nature. I have now watched all 6 season of the modern show (TENTH DOCTOR IS THE BEST) and random episodes of the classic show (FIFTH DOCTOR IS THE BEST). It's so good. Full of quirky British humor and complex plot lines.
Warehouse 13 is one of my comfort shows. I love the awesome family dynamic that they have going. Claudia is my tv alter ego, with her cool yet nerdy little sister vibe. I found it really easy to invest in the characters and follow the plot. Most of the acting is really good (do NOT get me started on H.G.). This show has a really cool concept and they do really cool things with it.
Alright. Hopefully this will last you until my next post which will cover my favorite crime shows!
Hang in there, fellow nerds, for the geeks will inherit the earth ;)

Summer Procrastination
Ahhh summer.... I quite like summer. Summer is the best. The reason I am talking so much about summer is because it started for me, today! I finished the last of my school and am now, officially a SENIOR. I find this really exciting. The other piece of exciting news is that Tech Week (otherwise known as Crazy Week) for the play I'm working on starts tomorrow!
But back to summer... I always have great plans for my summers. I plan to go to the beach a zillion times, I plan to work out and get a tan, I plan to try a bunch of new recipes, I plan to finish all those sewing projects that I have laying around, I plan to have tons of movie nights with my friends...
Honestly, I'm very good at planning, not so good at following through. For me, summer is when I make and break my resolutions, not New Years.
So, this year, I decided to be a little more realistic. I have set myself two goals. 1) to bike at least once a week and, 2) to hold a dance at least once a month. This way, anything else that I do or get done will be a bonus! I love finding new ways to make myself feel productive :)
Anybody have any interesting plans or clever ideas for the summer?

Out there, is a world outside of YONKERS!
Except I don't live anywhere near Yonkers... But whatever!
One of my dreams has always been to travel! A few things stand in the way of that. Lack of funds, lack of traveling companions, lack of time, and a sever fear of airports. Not airplanes. Airports.
But that doesn't stop me from dreaming! So, here is a list of my dream destinations...
Of course, I love the beach (I mean, what girl doesn't) but the beaches in Italy are just mesmerizing.
Seriously. Plus, Italy is just all around beautiful!
The British Isles have always had a place in my heart since I went there when I was 5.
There is, of course, London:
The Yorkshire Dales:
Okay, honestly, I could go on about Britain for a whole post. I shall save that for another time.
I shall finish with a place that I REALLY want to go to. It's a fairytale castle. In Australia. It doesn't get much cooler than that.
To wrap things up, I would like to say a few words about my friends over at Lemonade and Kidney Stones. Rachie and Gracy are two of my VERY bestest friends and they are a lot funnier than I am. Go check out their blog for a giggle: http://lemonade andkidneystones .blogspot.com/
Toodle pip, y'all!

Ordinary Beginings, Extraordinary Potential
Well, folks. This is me. With a blog. Yep. Not sure if that's scary or TERRIFYING. Anyway, I just want to make it clear that I am in no way actually going to be responsible about posting a regular basis. I'm far to busy with life... and such. (STOP LAUGHING! I do too, have a life...)
I think the first thing I had better explain is the title of my blog. Bubbles: Because I will forever be young at heart and who doesn't love bubbles? Blue Boxes: Because I'm a geek. Go google "Tardis" and you will understand... maybe. Ballroom dancing: Because that is one of the things that I love dearest. It makes me happy.
The second thing I'm going to explain is what this blog is for. It is for me to post things (duh) like tutorials for things that I make, movie reviews, little things that I write like a short story or poem, life lessons from my own life, and other random bits and pieces from my brain. I'll try to make it all make sense but no guarantees.
It's almost summer, so, hopefully, you will hear from me often over the next few months. I've got some great things planned, but since this is my life, half of them probably won't happen but it will all be a blast, anyway!
Live long and prosper.
